Down from the Highlands to Glasgow

Hi all,

Well sadly we had to leave our new friend Terry behind in the Highlands and head for Glasgow. The first stop for the day was at the famous Loch Ness. As proven by the photos below, we met up with Nessie, and she was kind enough to pose for a photo before heading back down to the depths of the Loch.... it may be many years before she surfaces again, so treasure that photo people!! Of course once she was gone we figured we may as well make a stop at the gift shop for a few trinkets to mark the occasion.

The next stop was a boat cruise on Loch Lomond, it was freezing cold, but luckily we found the younger brother of our friend the £1 pint.... the £1 hot choccy, to warm things up a little. In case anyone at home is wondering who Keith and Vicky are, they are a couple from Mackay (we tried our best to not hold the fact that they are Aussies against them) that we sat with at dinner on the first night...it was Keith who introduced us to the tasty blue concontion!!

From there we faced one of the longer coach rides of the trip down to Glasgow. We arrived late afternoon, and we were off the next morning, so there was not a lot of time to look around.... however we did manage to find time to have dinner at La Tascas, the tappas restaurant that Canadian Dave had recommended..... very niiiice!! Our lasting memory of Glasgow has to be getting absolutely pissed on from a great height on our way back to the coach from dinner, only to be consoled by the most comfortable bed in the UK!!!
